I have accidentally deleted some akonadi nepomuk resources, with urls in the form of akonadi:?item=<Number>
now, maybe related my kmail get stuck whenever I am trying to display an email, nohing happens but the "Retrieving folder contents, please wait" screen

how can I re-index the emails that I think I have deleted from nepomuk?

I am not sure the two events are related. Which PIM version are you using?
