Why is email count different between KMail and Gmail?

Hello,

Why is email count different between KMail and Gmail. I use IMAP on KMail/KDE 4.14.3 on Fedora 21.

For IMAP, GMail creates different folders depending on your labels, so you're only seeing the ones wihtout labels. There should also be an "All Messages" folder. That one contains all the messages, uncategorized. If you check the message count of that folder, it should match.

All Mail in Gmail and KMail are also different.
