![]() I have two computers running OpenSuse 13.1 with KDE4, running KDEPIM 4.11.5. On the first one, a laptop, I spent a lot of time moving over my old KDEPIM mail, etc, created new filters, etc, and it is working just fine. I tried to create a backup for KDEPIM - went to tools, exportkmaildata, backupdata, clicked in each option box for everything, saved the zip file. I installed OpenSuse 13.1 KDE4 fresh on the desktop. When I moved the zip file to my desktop, and tried to restore all the data, none of the mail, folders, etc were on my desktop. Should I have copied the .local folder to the desktop as well? I tried copying the .local, share local-mail and contacts over separately and it sort of works, now. When I start using kdepim and go to mail, it runs for a few minutes and then a message pops up saying akonadi_pop3_resource_orc of type POP3 Email server closed unexpectedly. Is this supposed to be my mail account? When I look in kmail identities, there are twenty or more copies of an unnamed identity, instead of just the ones i created. Short of completely deleting the install and starting over, what IS the correct way to move a KDEPIM account from one computer to another? |
