Hello Everyone!

I'd like to ask for some advice on an issue that's been bugging me lately. I'm migrating my e-mail accounts from GMail (several of them) to KolabNow. The mail works really decent, but I'm battling my contacts. I've imported all my old contacts from GMail and some legacy addressbooks taken from Thunderbird. All seems well, the contacts sit nicely on the server, but now I'd like to delete the garbage.

And here's the thing: after I delete the junk contacts, they pop-up again. They probably think it's a game of Quake, since they're respawning like wild ;)

I've did some research and found (viewtopic.php?f=215&t=93837) a similar thread. Also a bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=230260 .

See also: viewtopic.php?f=215&t=121545 (it's about GMail, but similar issue). I'm syncing only "calendar and tasks" from Google, not contacts. All my contacts were exported to files and then imported via the web interface into MyKolab (KolabNow at the moment).

Could you please assist? This is a bit of a showstopper for me and my migration.

Have a nice day,
Bartosz

What happens if you delete one contact from the web interface? Is it gone for good locally as well?

Hello!

Thank you for replying. When I delete someone from the web interface, that person stays deleted in Kontact.

I made a mistake: some of the contacts were imported via KAddressBook from VCS cards and placed in a separate book "Android" that feeds data to my phone. BTW: I just love this ;D
