KMail not filtering GMail tags

Fri Feb 13, 2015 6:56 pm
Hi,

Maybe somebody ask this but I couldn't find anything about it.

I have Kmail configured to use a gmail account over IMAP and kmail uses folder supscription. Everything worked well... until now.

I've created a filter to tag some mails as "Work". In gmail web site looks well, that is, I can go to "folder" work and all the mails are there not in the general inbox. But I cannot make Kmail to do the same.

Every mail is stored in general inbox and, when I tried to make a local filter, the filtered mail just disappeared.

Have anybody managed to make this work?.

Thanks.

Can you explain in more detail what's your setup? Are you trying to filter with KMail to reproduce what you are doing via the web interface? (tagging)

Hi

I'm trying to have my inbox with subfolders as I used with pop3 accounts. That means, to have a folder "Inbox" and another one "Work" in the way you see in gmail web site.
