What do the options "vacuum" and "fsck" do exactly for akonadictl?

Fsck checks for items that are referenced in Akonadi but no longer present in the sources (e.g. deleted mails). Vacuum cleans out those entries, IIRC (fsck only moves them to a "lost+found" folder).

So "vacuum" should make sure akonadi only stores references to all mail that is shown in kmail and doesn't hold any ghost references to old mail that has been removed long time ago... and the size of the akonadi database is not bigger as necessary, right?
