Hi,

Due to my screen setup, I want to use the navigator toolbar rather than the sidebar (I have more vertical space than horizontal). The problem is, every time I start Kontact it has lost the navigator, it is simply not displayed and none of the icons appear. To get it back I need to:
  • Unlock the toolbars.
  • Move the main or navigator about until they both show up one under the other.
  • Move them back to overlap in the same horizontal row (at this point the navigator still has no icons).
  • Remove an icon from the navigator, re-add it and apply.
Even then the toolbar often disappears as I shift to calendar or contacts.

I guess this needs to go in a bug report, but I was wondering if anyone had any workarounds for now.

Thanks!

Matt.

First, can you try with later patch releases (4.14.2) to see if the issue still persists? If it does, please file a bug report.

Will do - though I'll be waiting for Kubuntu to catch up before installing. Thanks!
