Hello,
I've been trying to import the addressbook of The Bat! (Win mail client) into KMail / KAddressBook (4.14.5, openSUSE 13.2 x64) via the Import Wizard, but the wizard is unable to find The Bat!. Not even if I mount Windows partitions under /win_os and /win_data (main program installed in c:\Program Files\The Bat! and data -different disk- in f:\<username>\My Documents\The Bat MAIL). Is that operation possible or the wizard will import from The Bat! only in Windows? How does the wizard find the installed mail clients? Thank you

It might be easier to export (if possible) from The Bat! to a std format and then import it
try using kmailcvt (should be installed) ![]() |

kmailcvt does not import addressbook data.
In anticipation, importing from ldif file results in only one address per contact (the filter seems to ignore the otherMailbox tag, neither identifies objectclass: groupOfNames as a group in KAddressBook); import from vcard brings about encoding problems with quoted-printable names (and I have a lot of these). That's why I wanted to try the Import Wizard. Thank you for answering |
