I have got a question concerning the behaviour of the outbox folder. I have several e-mails in that folder I am trying to delete but the always reappear into that folder.

There are two reasons for that:

First, KMail hang and did not send my messages. Then, I rewrote them, everything worked well but the first message I wrote still stayed in the outbox folder.
Second, I wrote an E-Mail with an attachment being too big for the receiver and tried to cancel the sending process by deleting the message. After a few tries the message still appears in that folder, but wasn't send.

Now I want to clean up this folder being sure KMail will not send any of that messages. Is there a possibility do to so? I also switched off networking to be sure, it can't send any message. Then after deleting all messages and cleaning up the trash, KMail still wants to send some messages (I get the error that my smtp server is not reachable), but I do not know which message KMail tries to send.

I am using KMail 4.14.3-2 on Arch Linux (yes, its not the newest version, but I want to have this problem fixed first before updating).
