I just love Kubuntu and KDE. I have been using it many years, however I have aged a bit and have vision problems that can not be corrected.
Kmail has the zoom in/out feature, so I can increase font size using that tool, but I currently have to select zoom in 5 to 6 times each time I want to view what is printed. It seems like a solvable problem, because I have this feature on other sites, like Kubuntu forums, help the new guy. Each time I open that site the font is suitable for me to read comfortably. Applications like Kmail have added the Zoom In feature, which helps a lot, but in the case of some of us, it represents unnecessary steps just to be able to read content. I will never change to Thunderbird or other mail applications, because this is the only feature that annoys, but I still would like the ability to set the minimums. If anyone knows a way to circumvent the current setup, or if anyone knows how to reconfigure Kmail to get the result I prefer, I would be grateful for the knowledge. Thanks! I apologize for complaining about such a wonderful gift. Thanks for the otherwise excellent job you do in making Kmail, in my opinion, the best email application. ![]() |

Kmail -> Settings -> Configure Kmail -> Appearance -> Fonts, check Use Custom Fonts, then select which component with the "Apply To" drop down and then adjust the fonts
