Do you see the mails you send from other means, e.g. a Web interface?

Yes sure, I am using the web mail of 1and1 right now. I don't have a problem with gmail on kmail it is just my 1and1 account, and I think I have configured it quite well. only some emails from 2011 are being synced in my sent and inbox folders. Please take a look into the attached image below. ![]() Regards, Ibrahim |

Can you try wiping the cache and attempting a sync? Open "akonadiconsole", choose the "Browser" tab, right click on the inbox of your 1and1 account and select "Clear Akonadi Cache".

How many mails do you have in there? Are you sure it's not just caching them locally? DId you enable offline storage of mails?
Bear in mind that if you have a lot of mails, the initial sync can take time.
