Hi, When I open Kmail the small windows for the passwords ( 2 Email addresses ) are hidden
behind the main interface, if I do nothing then Kmail crashes. if I quickly move the main interface to expose the password windows and enter a password then it works Ok. Any suggestions for a longer delay before crashing, stop it crashing, and for having the password windows on top. Dave P.. |

Can you post a screenshot showing the exact problem you're having?

Hi, I don't seem to be able to get a screen shot showing the problem. however
I don't think one would be of much help. Basically there seems to be two problems, 1) When starting Kmail ( fullscreen ) the small window to enter a password is not visable, it is there but covered by the Kmail screen, so Kmail has to be moved or minimized to enter a password, and very quickly due to the next problem. 2) When starting Kmail if a password is not entered very quickly kmail produces an error message then Crashes. the error message is :- The Kmail programme encountered a fatal error and will terminate now. The error was: Timeout trying to get lock. I hope this helps. Dave P.. |

Please file a bug report on bugs.kde.org, include your KMail version, and please try to provide a "backtrace" (the crash dialog will help you in generating one).
