I know it affects thing long-term to start Akonadi with a particular database server. I'd prefer to use Postgres as I am no database expert but know postgres more than mysql. I understand postgres may be faster too. I choose postgres and regardless of internal or external (I have no feelings about that setting), it won't start.

What do I need to do? I've searched and searched and tried a few things, no solutions yet. I tried making an "akonadi" user and postgresql database, specifying that as the user and password, but that didn't work.
