When I send something through my SMTP server, KMail started showing an insecure connection icon. I didn't change my settings (using TLS). Where can I see some logs to verify what exactly is going on?

This is a simple oversight in choosing the icon. The KF5 version of KMail, out in this Applications' release, shows STARTTLS connections as secure.

I see thanks. Is it still in development? Debian doesn't have it.

It's going to be released as part of the Applications 15.08 release (currently in beta).
