I would be very nice to be able to insert links in zim notes which refer to specific emails in Kmail -- thus making it possible to store links to relevant emails in the zim notes app ... click the link and Kmail jumps to the specified email.

In Moz Thunderbird there is a plugin called thunderlink which makes this possible -- right clicking an email provides a menu option to 'copy thunderlink' which can the be inserted anywhere (e.g. in zim)

I know it is possible to create links to Kmail emails in Basket ... but is it possible to get a link for a Kmail email to insert into e.g. Zim?

The way it is designed, it's probably possible, but I don't think anyone has written something to actually do that yet.

That would be a useful feature, though. A feature request perhaps...

In any case, if drag/drop into Basket works, it couldn't be that difficult (...could it?)
