When I start Kontact Kmail stays offline. It doesn't look like it's been syncing at all. Messages show up when I click the folders. Check mail interval is 5 minutes.

Do you have a connection manager like NetworkManager installed? Can you give more details on how the problem occurs? It's hard to tell what the issue is exactly as details are scarce.
