Normally Kmail directories are located under /home/geppino/.local/share/local-mail/

Can the user choose another path to save it?
I think to create a new Kmail agent (with user defined path), whereto I'll move mails from default directory. Then I'd like to let work Kmail with this new directory.
Will Kmail still work?

It would be nice, if someone knows about that or already had similar experienced.

Thanks for suggestions

before doing anything make a copy of local-mail

systemsettings -> Personal Information -> Akonadi Resources Configuration -> Local Folders

if you delete the Local Folders resource you will probably delete the actual folder, not sure what happens to it if you change the location (probably nada but as Nils once said "Back It Up")
