Hi,

since I upgraded to Kubuntu 15.10 Akregator crashes on application start in one of my accounts. It works as expected on a second one. So I assume that there's something wrong with one of my config files.
I tried to remove / rename the following config files
./.kde/share/config/akregator.notifyrc
./.kde/share/config/akregatorrc
./.kde/share/config/akregator.eventsrc
./.kde/share/apps/akregator
./.kde/share/apps/akregator/
./.config/akregatorrc
./.config/akregator.notifyrc
./.config/session/akregator*
./.config/akregatorrc
./.local/share/akregator/
./.local/share/kxmlgui5/akregator/
./.local/share/akregator

However Akregator still crashes.
This is the konsole log that I get:

The desktop entry file "/home/laier/.local/share/applications/kde-kghostview.desktop" has Type= "Application" but also has a X-KDE-Library key. This works for now, but makes user-preference handling difficult, so support for this might be removed at some point. Consider splitting it into two desktop files.

Would you please suggest what I can do to get a clean installation of akregator.

Can you post a backtrace with the debug symbols installed? Just paste the one the crash dialog generates.

Hi,

with aKregator I managed to start if the proxy is configured to company network and I was at home, i.e. it couldn't grab any data from the net.

If I have all background tabs closed it does start with proper proxy/network settings. When I open a website in a tab it opens the tab and shows the website for a while and dies.
Here's the output of gdb:

Cheers!
