I often use kmail viewer (kmail --view) to view email. However, I can no longer open messages from Dolphin (or the command line). I get the error
"The file or folder file:/path/to/file does not exist." However, if I do Kmail > File > Open > /path/to/file then the file opens. This is much more cumbersome and I don't understand why it works while the command line version fails. Help? I'm using kmail2 5.0.2 on Kubuntu 15.10 and KDE 5.4.2 |

This looks like a porting bug from kdelibs 4.x to KF5. And I'm being told the next version (15.12) will have it fixed.

Sounds like this bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=352873
It's apparently fixed in 5.1 but your distro probably doesn't have that packaged. |
