I use Fastmail. I was able to setup the Contacts but it seems like an offline copy since it will not sync to or from. The Calendar doesn't appear to work at all.

Here is a screenshot of the calendar settings:

I am able to Fetch on both the calendar and address book using either Global or Specific Credentials although this doesn't appear to change the underlying problem. Ideas?

What version of KMail are you using, and on what distribution?

Code: Select all
cat /etc/*release

kmail --version
kontact --version

DISTRIB_ID=ManjaroLinux
DISTRIB_RELEASE=15.12
DISTRIB_CODENAME=Capella
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Manjaro Linux"

kmail2 5.1.2

kontact 5.1.2

So basically an up-to-date Manjaro KDE.

You may want to try and upgrade to 15.12.2 when Manjaro makes it available (if not yet): I've seen a few code commits to the *DAV support going in, but I'm not sure if they can fix your issue. Report back here once you have tried.

Let's hope this works but I've had similar issues in the 4.x days and it's the little things that put me off. I like kmail quite a bit but I believe most users need a unified mail, calendar and contacts experience. As of now, Manjaro hasn't updated to 15.12.2.
