I'm not sure if I should post my ideas in this forum or elsewhere to propose ideas of new features. Admin, feel free to move my thread if not at the right place. ![]() I have 2 ideas of new/improved features that (I think) could be nice features for the Kontact PIM Suite: - in KOrganizer, the "Task management module" could include a view similar to a simplified PERT chart. It could be helpful to visually organize tasks and subtasks by drag and drop. It would allow to get the overall organization of a small project very quickly, with a real focus on task breakdown. - in KAddressbook, a tab in the contact dialog could list the communication history with this contact (emails, calls, meetings). Therefore the PIM suite could be used as a mini CRM for personal use. I don't know if these features are possible with the data models and architecture used in KDE PIM applications, but I think that this kind of features would make the soft stands out the competition. |

The best would be to file 2 wishlist request (one per feature) on bugs.kde.org. That's where the (few) developers working on PIM check these things (not many are on the forum).
