Hi,

The packages named above fail to compile for me on Gentoo. I have reported a bug to Gentoo, but nobody else seems to be having this problem. Maybe one of you knows how the build system works and why I'm having this problem.

I'm always getting this error: phonon/mediaobject.h: No such file or directory. Phonon is installed and working.

I have worked around this by editing the corresponding flag file to include /usr/include/phonon4qt5 so far, but it comes up again with every version, so I would really like to fix it. Please refer to the liked bug report for more information.

Thank you,
Malte

kdepim builds fine here on the openSUSE Build Service. I seem to recall a similar error with Phonon, but I don't remember which solution we took. Perhaps it's best if you took this issue to the kdepim mailing list.

I upgraded phonon, that fixed it. Weird thing is that other people did not experience the same problem with the same version of phonon.
