Hi!

I am using KDE 4.14.3 and KMail 4.14.3 (I am back from GNOME and Evolution) and I setup IMAP which works. Than I made folders on Local folders and filters which works if I mark emails on IMAP Inbox but they don't work auto as I have on Evolution but as I read it should.
In settings I have marked in Advanced settings:
Apply this filters to incoming messages and from checked accounts only and I have checked mark on IMAP and Local folders.

Are filters configured to run when new mail arrives?
Also, do you have access to Sieve based filters? With IMAP they work considerably better than the local filters.

Everything is configured but KMail looks like is behind the other email clients and doesn't support filtering for IMAP. I do not want to use sieve filters.

How long is KMail 4 on the "market"??

KMail 4 is basically unsupported, save versions maintained outside KDE's repository by Kolab Systems.
