Where are kmail email files going?

Kmail Platform Version 4.13.3 on Linux Mint

I have a data partition, but might have taken the default install options for data storage.

I made an archive, which went into:

/home/username/Documents

Original kmail is not there.

Inside the archive files are stored in:

/.Local Folders.directory/my mail folder/cur

... but that doesn’t seem to reflect the original mail location.

I tried the pim exporter to backup mail.

Error: mysqldump not found. Export data aborted

It asked for a location and file name to store the data, but I did not see indication where the original email data are stored. Please help.

Think I found the email data files.
