Kmail sync problems

Sun Jun 26, 2016 12:16 am
Hi all,

I am using Kmail 5.2.2 with KDE Frameworks 5.23.0, I have a Yahoo account that i want to use with kmail and IMAP but whenever it tries to sync the inbox it goes up to 4% and then jumps to 100% without retrieving any mails. All other folders sync without problems.

This is part of the output given by "akonadictl restart"

log_imapresource: Fetch job failed "Obtener falló, el servidor respondió: A000017 NO UID FETCH Server error while fetching messages [ UNAVAILABLE ]"
log_imapresource: ""
akonadicore_log: The item sync is being rolled-back.

How do i fix this error?

Thanks

What version of PIM are you using? Do you know if you can access the INBOX from another mail client without issues?

Hi einar

Here are all the pim packages installed in my box

bash-4.3$ ls /var/log/packages/*pim*
/var/log/packages/kdepim-16.04.2-x86_64-1alien
/var/log/packages/kdepim-addons-16.04.2-x86_64-1alien
/var/log/packages/kdepim-apps-libs-16.04.2-x86_64-1alien
/var/log/packages/kdepimlibs-16.04.2-x86_64-1alien
/var/log/packages/kdepimlibs4-4.14.10-x86_64-3alien
/var/log/packages/kdepim-runtime-16.04.2-x86_64-1alien
/var/log/packages/kpimtextedit-16.04.2-x86_64-1alien
/var/log/packages/libkdepim-16.04.2-x86_64-1alien
/var/log/packages/pimcommon-16.04.2-x86_64-1alien
bash-4.3$

I installed Trojita email client and Slackware comes with Thunderbird. Both sync all yahoo folders including inbox without problems.

Thanks
Juan
