Hello!

I tried to edit a draft with more than 200 receiver and now a error message window repeats endless.

In german is the message: "Es können keine weiteren Empfänger hinzugefügt werden, die maximale Anzahl wurde erreicht."
(You can add any additional recipients , the maximum number is reached .) and i can only press okay and the windows appears again.
I cannot view my mails anymore and I don't know how I can stop this. Even a newstart allows to start "normal".

edit: Perhaps it is possible to stop a special-composer-window in kmail2rc?!

I usw Kubuntu 16.04 with KDE-Plasma 5.5.5

Please file a bug on bugs.kde.org about this issue (there should be just one window, not 200).

To prevent this from showing, you can raise the maximum number of recipients in KMail, under the composer settings ("Maximum number of recipients").

Unfortunately there is only this errorpage and I cannot reach any other windows of KMail. Perhaps the "maximium number of recipients" can be raised in Kmail2rc or related files?!
After a reboot the same errorpage shows up.
Perhaps it is possible to set the opened windows to default?

Edit kmail2rc, and under [Composer] put

Code: Select all

MaximumRecipients=XXX

Where XXX is the maximum number of recipients to allow. Set it high to prevent this issue.

This solved the problem not.

I tried this:
Delete all files in .local/share/kmail2/autosave
and restarted Kmail2 and now all is okay!
