Greetings,

At present I am on KMail. After having dug into that piece of software I have already some issues to resolve (not found in any setting).

I use OpenSuse Leap 42.1, Breeze Dark, MX Theme
I would appreciate, as usual any helpful piece of advice on the following:

1.
Is there any addons, or some way to activate a second language spelling (ideally by choosing automatically a language)
I have English installed by default and I would like to add French as a second language, and ideally foe system-wide spellchecking.
There is an more than excellent application on linux as well called Antidote that perform automatic spell check in En and Fr (I use it on Windows)
Is there any Linux alternative to Antidote?

2.
How can I import Windows Live Mail stuff - Contacts and all emails?

3,
Why I there are the separate Kmail application installed while it is included in Kontact one grouping several apps?

4.
Any other piece of advice?

Thank you in advance.

1. I'm not sure if it's possible at the moment. KMail leverages a lower-level component called Sonnet to do the spellchecking, and I don't remember if it supports multiple languages in the same text.
2. Can you export mail and contacts from Live Mail in standard formats? You'd want "mbox" or "Maildir" for mai, and "VCF" or "vCard" for contacts. ICS is what you'd look for calendars.
3. Kontact is a full groupware suite which embeds other applications. Sometimes you want just the email program and not anything else, so you don't need Kontact and all the software that comes with it.
