Dear All,
I migrated from Evolution to Kmail. I use Debian Stretch with KDE now. For my old emails I use mainly a Maildir folder in ~/Documents/Maildir. In Kmail I created a maildir folder ~/Documents/Mail and copied the folder in Maildir to Mail. But the emails are not stored in ~/Documents/Mail, but in ~/ .local/share/akonadi/file_db_data/ I found some folder which named from 00 to 99 there. What is this for a system, please ? I read something about akonadi, it seams that it's "only" a cache, but not store emails ? This seems not to be a maildir. I like to archiv my emails in a simple Maildir. What I have to to, please ? Kind regards Rawbit |

Actually, this *is* (part of) akonadi's cache. The mails should be stored in the configured folder (~/Documents/Mail in your case), in maildir format. Unless something goes wrong with syncing them back... |
