Hello good people of Kde,

If been having this issue since the beginning when i installed ubuntu with kde.

When i open kmail, randomly it sorts all my emails alphabetical order and not by date, this is entirely random since i haven't tinker with its settings.

Lately this is occurring very often so a solution would be very appreciated

You need to change the aggregation mode. There are several to choose from. You can get to the settings viaL

Settings > Configure KMail > Appearance > Message List > Default aggregation
