so after spending a year trying to get thunderbird to work along with the tray iv given up and i'm now looking at korganizor / kmail.

How do i allow html/remote content from individual email addresses ?

and setting same options in contacts also does not work ?

So ATM i have to allow HTML and remote content globally which is a serious security risk!

What version of KDE PIM are you using? (check in Help > About KMail).

KMail 5.1.3

Can you check whether the address book you saved the contact in is visible in KAddressbook? If it's not ticked, KMail won't allow you to check the checkbox. If it still doesn't work for you, it's however fixed in later versions (I just tested it), so either Applications 16.08 or the upcoming 16.12.

yes definitely in the kontacts, defiantly ticked and visible. i have tried changing the order of the completion too.
