I am getting a bunch of user authentication errors on Kmail, I have been researching the Gmail end, and have the lesser authentication app turned ON but still get this message even after retrieving a few mails.
What is worst I am not sure how to access these debug logs from Kail, only get to see the notification message and a notification bar. I screenshot the bar:

This looks like a different issue than what you think. Can you open "akonadiconsole" and report the state of the GMail account you have configured? Do you have "libkgapi" installed?

I do have akonadiconsole and I did found libkgapi when I did a locate, I also have another email account to a non Google Mail server and works perfectly. Any recomendation? I just want to know how to get to the server respond so I can see what is Google complaining about.

First test is:

- Run "akonadictl restart" in a terminal - you'll see loads of debug output
- Try authenticating with GMail: after it fails, copy the debug output from the terminal to a pastebin service
