I’m about to give Kontact another try and everything’s smooth so far. I have 4 IMAP accounts synced with Kmail and I’m used to having a 'unified inbox' (thunderbird). So I created a search folder called Inbox (search rule: 'Msg-status=read' or 'Msg-Status=unread') scanning the different inboxes.

This works fine so far, except for this bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381439, but this is not my issue here.

I’m wondering, if it’s possible to delete messages while being in the search folder. In thunderbird this is possible; the mails are moved to the corresponding trash folder, that is set in the account properties. In kmail’s context menu, the option 'Delete message' is grayed out when being in search folder.

Any hint is appreciated!
