I have few identities in my kmail, and I could change an identity through writing,by choosing from the list next to [From]:
From 5.5.3 version I cannot do this any-more, I think there must somewhere in the settings.

You can enable/disable the Identity field (and the others as well) in the composer's "View" menu.

I found it.

When you writing a new message, go to [View], click [Identity], and you could have drop-off menu with all the identities in this, and other menus.

From 5.5.3 version some default things were changed, so is the reason I lost it.
