I have 4 email messages in a Kmail folder.
Code: Select all
[hank@HIvyTower Bush]$ pwd
/home/hank/.kde4/share/apps/kmail/mail/.hank.directory/.Books.directory/Bush
[hank@HIvyTower Bush]$ ls -ald */*
-rw-rw-r-- 1 hank hank 5014565 Mar 19  2017 cur/1489976508.R253.HIvyTower:2,S
-rw-rw-r-- 1 hank hank    4024 Mar 19  2017 cur/1489977109.R691.HIvyTower:2,S
-rw-rw-r-- 1 hank hank    4799 Apr  6 15:50 cur/1491511849.R166.HIvyTower:2,R
-rw-rw-r-- 1 hank hank  307615 Apr 14 20:26 new/1492219596.R901.HIvyTower:2,R
[hank@HIvyTower Bush]$

But neither Kmail, nor Akonadi Console acknowledge their existence. I have tried selecting the relevant Kmail folder, and tried to "Update folder".

The messsages continue to not be listed.

I may have shot my Kmail system by trying some non-recommended processes. :(

ALSO:
The higher level folder Books has an Id, "78142" without a Remote Id.
Code: Select all
akonadictl fsck 2> ~/akonadictl-fsck-18
reports this issue, Akonadi Console shows this also.

But how do you recommend that I get Kmail to show the messages? ???
