Hello,
I am new to this forum, so Hi! to all readers.

Quite recently I have installed SuSE Leap 42.3 on my PC.
So I installed Mozilla Thunderbird and created my IMAP accounts in the application.
I've also tried to import my address book data in Thunderbird, however this did not work (Got some 'could not import empty file' like message).
So to test the CSV file I tried to import the data in KAddressBook and this worked!
However, I have four address books to import. I was only able to create one in KAddressBook for use. It it possible to create more, and rename them separately, however if you delete something from one of them it also deletes the data in the other books?
So I tried to create a subfolder in the Address book (called "Personal Contacts", however this gives an error message everytime. The message is:

Code: Select all
Could not create address book folder: Unable to append mimetype for collection new resourceId: 4

I tried to find some manual information for KAddressBook, however this is for version 4.x. My version is 5.5.2.

Does anyone know what action could be taken to get past this message and create the folder?

I suggest you to create a new folder and not a subfolder , because in kmail you can see al folders in the same time.
You can create group in the same folder using label options.

Solution go to /home/xxx/.local/share/contacts/ and create new Order here. Then go to Kaddressbook and create new Addressbook choose local folder
