I'm running kmail 5.5.2 under leach 42.3 with kernel 4.4.104-39-default. When I click on a link received in an email it doesn't open in my default browser firefox Quantum 57.0.4. When changing to Chromium as default browser nothing changes. After clicking on the link I get the error message 'A folder named /home/gerd/.cache/kioexec/krun/14012_0/ already exists'.
Is this a known bug? If yes, is there a work-around?

I don't know. After a long time I just installed Kontact again, version 5.7.1, and here links work as they should. So maybe there has been an error which is fixed in a newer release.
