A crash (debian Jessie/ KDE4) has left me in an awkward situation. Data on all drives has (mostly) been recovered, but for investigative purposes, only a command-line system is running at present (i.e. no window system no kde). A data backup drive is mounted on another machine running kde3. But I need to recover kaddressbook! Following the Akonadi intro has led me to the mysql database which is where I assume the original data resides, but I have not been able to find any corresponding .vcf files that might be copied directly, so I'm stuck. What is the recommended method of recovering and exporting kaddressbook to a transportable (eg .vcf) format when kde4 and akonadi are not running?
