Hi!
I’m using kmail to get my emails from google via imap on manjaro linux. Since a few system updates ago, akonadi is connecting to google mail via an authentication window.
My Problem: everytime kmail checks my gmail account i have to re-accept the authentication. the google authentication window pops up 5-8 times everytime i chekc my mails. is there a way to tell akonadi to save my password and accept my googlemail account without asking again?

thanks very much!

Haven't found a solution so far. But I also don't have an idea where to start... :-\

I guess it has something to do with saving the authentication keys, but I could be wrong...

I found that changing the Authentication Method from to "Gmail" to "PLAIN" solves the issue! ;D

You could try opening the KWalletManager and delete the passwords in imap->Password, then restart Akonadi. It should prompt new login (via the OAuth window) and then, hopefully, it should remember it :)
