Hi everyone,
I've been using KMail as my daily email client for a while, about 1 month, more or less. I've got 4 accounts set up, 2 Disroot and 2 Google. So the issue comes when i try to send an email, from an identity of these 4. Every single one will fail, except the 1st Disroot identity, which sends correctly. I had isues since the update to Qt 5.12 on KMail, when i installed first, being 18.08.2 or so i think, it worked as i described, the notifications of errors or successfully sent were working, but after update to Qt 5.12, everything changed, every try to send an email, ended with that email being sent to the Local Folders>outbox folder, and no notification was made. I wait until the launch of KDE Applications 18.12, so i could check if that solved the problem, but it wasn't the case. So i was about 30 minutes trying stuff about 2 days ago, for finally restore it to the initial status, but with a little problem, i've got about 300 Unnamed identities. I tried to delete them manually, one by one, from the KMail settings, but it's awful, the first day i tried, let's say there're about 150, i checked yesterday and the number increased ostensibly, and every time i delete one, KMail and the system in general slows down, as it was a huge performance request for the DB system. In conclusion, what i'm asking is for your help, KDE Community, to help me solve this disturbing issue, i really like KMail, and with the brand new Unified Mailbox Plugin, it's even better, but the problem of can't send emails except from one account, it's really disturbing. The error that i see right now when a sent fails is this one: Error: Failed to transport message. Server error: 5.7.1 <(email from the sender account)>: Sender address rejected: not owned by user (username of the account that works fine to send emails) Thank you so much in advance and sorry for the inconveniences. Best regards. |
