This is on Neon User.
The "summary panel" is working in that it displays the calendar and to-dos etc.

However it is not displaying new e-mails.

The e-mail "plugin" is blue in the summary selection along with all of the other plugins.

So, it is probably that there is something that I can't figure out in terms of that I am supposed to "click / select" an inbox in Kmail itself, or is this something that others have observed.

If there is something new about "selecting an e-mail folder to display" I would gladly read any responses.

Duuuhhhh it was right there all along in settings / configure Kontact / new messages - tick the appropriate e-mail client's inbox folder. A "folder" appears with a listing of messages, it does no display the header of the message.

So, an admin can delete this thread, my apologies for being so clueless.
