What happened to my KMail templates?

Hi. I've been using KMail since 2003. Most of the time I've been happy with it.

Yesterday I "upgraded" from SUSE LEAP 42.3 to SUSE LEAP 15.0. The new distro contains KMail 5.7.3. I'm not sure what version I was on before the upgrade.

Anyway, I find that I can no longer use my "templates" folder, because the old menu item "Messages > Edit Message" has been replaced with "Messages > Send Again", and "Send Again" is grayed out. Just for grins I composed a new message and saved it in "drafts" -- I can't figure out how to re-open the message. I read the KMail handbook about all the menu items, and the one thing that seems to work as advertised is "Send Again" will open an edit window on a message I have already sent.

Am I missing something? Is there some way to set a flag on the messages in my "Templates" and "Drafts" folders so that I can open them in an edit window? I'm the moderator of an e-mail discussion group, so I have about a dozen form letters that have to be sent fairly regularly. If I can't really use my template e-mails, I'm in a world of hurt.

Thanks! :(
