Is there anyway to keep "composer window" always on top and not in background?
Everytime i press "NEW" nothing seems to happened just because the composing window is below the main Kmail one. So I have either switch the task or minimise Kmail in order to write the email. Edit. This is apply when replying an email too. |

Hmm, the composer does receive focus correctly for me... (KDE Neon Git unstable)
Anyways, one way to work around this issue could be to create a KWin Window rule for the composer and set the "Start placement" ("Anfangsplatzierung" in german) to "Over main window" - this should theoretically solve the problem. |

I already set a rule that allow Kmail to start minimised on startup. I might do something wrong but if i change the rule it will do it for the whole program and not for just the composer window. If i get rid of the option to start minimise the composing window it shows normally above the main one. I have no idea how to create a separate rule from a dialog window like composer. Either "special window" and "special application" settings seems to apply on every window (main included) even if i start right-clicking from the composer one. At the moment i have two options: 1- avoid Kmail minimise from startup, then start it manually after reboot. 2- switch task every time i have to write a new email |
