Kmail overwrites Symbolic Link for my Local Email Folders

Hi, I have Debian10, kde-frameworks 5.54.0 and kmail 5.9.3. The last 10 years all kmail versions (pop3 , german t-online.de provider) were running perfectly on a system-partition, while local email folders were on my data partition. I always replaced the original kmail-folder for local emails by a symbolic link, pointing to my data partition. Kmail 5.9.3 was ok the first 5 days. Now kmail (or akonadi or whoever) constantly re-creates the ".akonadi_maildir_resource_0.directory"-folder (containing empty drafts, inbox, templates, trash-folders) beside my link with the same name. Result: Kmail only "sees" the 4 empty folders instead of my 3,5 GB local emails.

To find another solutionI I removed the symbolic link and told kmail in config menu the path to my local email partition, kmail confirmed: "This is a valid Maildir-path". The result is the same: Kmail only sees the 4 empty folders drafts + inbox + templates + trash, but not my local emails. Anybody has an idea ? Thanks for support.
