Find and export my old journal entries?

For years I kept an infrequent journal using the Kontact journal option, but I would like to find those files and (if possible) export them into a format I can then import into new journal software I'm trying to use. Is that possible? Does anyone know where these files are kept? I tried searching for an *.ics extension and it didn't come up with anything that seemed right.

Thank you!

In the meantime I tried to get Kontact running on my Lubuntu18.04LTS machine...it installed but now just crashes with a "send to developer" note. I had hoped maybe I could do this by running Kontact and viewing/exporting...but maybe it's better to import the .ics file or whatever it's called instead.

Thank you (again!) for help with this. It would be very nice to see those old journal entries again.
