Hi,
I had some problems with KMail / akonadi during the last days. The akonadi server declined to start and I could not get KMail to work. So I made a backup of my .local/share/local-mail directory and renamed the .local/share/akonadi as well as .config/akonadi directories. This allowed the akonadi server and KMail to start again. Sounds nice, but now the biggest part of the mails stored in the inbox folder is lost. Looks like all the older mails (>2 years) are not included in the inbox folder any more. All the other folders I created are complete, as far as I could see. Are the older mails of the inbox folder stored in a akonadi database or at some other location I did not 'reimport' yet? I think I keep my mails in maildir format, I receive the mails over pop3. Thanks for an idea Reinhard |
