Hi,
Kubuntu 20.04 has dropped all akonadi-related packages: https://phabricator.kde.org/T12486 My brief experience in trying to install kalarm in Kubuntu 20.04 yesterday (after the feature-freeze date in late Feb 2020) was that, in addition to installing kalarm with sudo apt install kalarm, I subsequently had to install akonadi-server and kdepim-runtime. There was a bit of hunting to find exactly what was required because the error messages weren't clear (at least to me). A user who installed kalarm in Kubuntu 19.10 (probably after choosing the minimal install option at the time of installation) also needed the same fix: https://askubuntu.com/a/1214407. I suggest that akonadi-server and kdepim-runtime be added to kalarm's dependencies before Kubuntu 20.04 is released. |
