Hello,

since a couple of days I cannot more properly customize the column width in the message list.
Many years ago I customized the message list with two columns:
- in the left column I have addressee, sender and reference line
- in the right one status, date and some custom symbols

It did run until a couple of day ago.
As launched KMail shows only the left column after start or both the columns but in a wider message list. The tool "Adjust the column width" from context menu, wen you set the mouse over the column head does not run like in the past (and not useful for me ):
It adapts the left column width to the widest reference line in the list. After that I cannot see the status column until I change the window width and manual carefully adjust the left column width.
In the past it did adapt the left column width to the max possible in order the see in the given (set) message list width.

How it is possible to set back the tool "Adjust the column width", in order it works like before the change?
Or there are a workaround in order to avoid long manual adjustments each time you start KMail?
