I am using DAVx5 to synch my calender, contacts, and tasks in my Android phone with our NextCloud and also with my Android tablet PC. This runs very good.

However, I cannot get Kontact synchronizing with NextCloud.

I appreciate getting help on this matter. This could also be link to a good guideline.

Thanks in advance for your helping replies.

@ajinkya

Thanks for your reply.

I got in the meantime KOrganizer synching. Seems to be correct. Looks good.

What does not yet work is KAdresseBook.
I could create a NextCloud address folder and the address book " contacts" . The KAdressBook does not yet synch. I don't see the entries from NextClould and cannot get an entru into NextCloud's calendar.

In KAddressBook - When I right click on the NextCloud folder and open AddressBook Properties, I see:
Display name correct
Refresh = every 5 min
Username = my user name in NextCloud
Password - I reentered the password again but it should be correct because Korganizer is synchronizing
Server Configuration - CalDav and CardDav with each path being the same up to /dav/
When I use Edit, it fetches the contacts.
However no contact is display in KAdressBook.

As for your kind advice, I don't find such a setting menu in KAddress.
Synchronization from between phone NextCloud and tablet PC works.
What I am no missing is the synchronization between NextCloud and KAddressBook.

In KAdressBook Settings > Configure KAddressBook I foud "LADP Server Settings". There is no server listed. The NextCloud manual for synchronization with KAddress does not say anything about an LADP Server and it's setting. I don't understand what an "LADP Server" is, thus appreciate some help also here.

What could be the solution to get KAddressBook synchronizing with NextCloud?

I followed this guide: https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/15/us ... c_kde.html

I do not use LDAP, but CardDav to see my Nextcloud contacts in KAddressbook. Works with synchronisation in both ways – as expected. :)
