Kubuntu 20.04-1, kmail 5.13.3 with KDE Frameworks 5.68.0
Hi, my problem [/url]https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=215&t=162228[/url] is still unsolved with kmail update. Many other people have similar problems, when you search "local folders" in this "Kontact & PIM" section. I put this into 3 questions:
- 1. Where does kmail store its local folders ? I experienced /home/me/.local/share/local-mail/ and /home/me/.local/.akonadi_maildir_resource.directory with the same Ubuntu (see above) on 2 different computers. Is there a strategy, which folder is chosen by kmail ?
- 2. In kmail configuration the path to my local folders can be chosen, however this does not or only temporary work for several kmail versions. Does anybody know a bug description or a workaround to deal with this behaviour ?
- 3. Therefore I want to replace the local-mail-folder by a symbolic link, pointing to a folder in my data partition. Why does this not or only temporaryly work ? Does anybody know a workaround for this ? Did any of the developers say anything about this behaviour ?
