I'm trying to set up kmail to use with 2 pop3 email accounts and my gmail account. The problem I'm having is that Kmail doesn't show the local folder in the folder pane. I set up the two pop3 email accounts kmail retrieved the email from both accounts. If I dig down into my home directory /.local/share/local-mail is there and I can see the files for the email that was downloaded so that worked. I also noticed that if I click on the Folder dropdown menu any item having to do with folders like folder property, new folder, update folder, update folder and all it's subdirectories are greyed out and unavailable. If it makes a difference this is a rather old home directory that I've used for two or three different distros.. I'm using kmail 5.16.0 on the latest Manjaro kde. Thanks for any help.
